Our Activities

Parivartan Sanstha Sumthana

Collaboration with NABARD

We work closely with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to uplift farmers’ livelihoods through various developmental programs. This strategic partnership enables us to implement watershed development projects, provide refinance support for agricultural credit, and facilitate access to institutional lending for small and marginal farmers. Through NABARD’s frameworks, we help farming communities access resources for productivity enhancement, natural resource management, and sustainable agricultural practices that improve income generation and rural prosperity.

Reducing Migrant Labour

Migration from rural areas stems largely from lack of awareness about available government schemes and benefits. We work tirelessly to educate farmers about schemes such as Kisan Credit Card, crop insurance, subsidies, and pension programs. Our field workers conduct village-level awareness camps, assist with application processes, and ensure farmers receive their entitled benefits. By connecting rural communities with government support systems, we create local livelihood opportunities that reduce the need for distress migration and keep families united.

Skill Development Training

Unemployment among rural youth demands urgent attention, and we address this through structured skill development programs aligned with Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) standards. We conduct training courses in diverse sectors including retail, hospitality, construction, automotive repair, beauty and wellness, and information technology. Our programs emphasize outcome-based learning with industry-relevant curricula leading to certification. With placement support and entrepreneurship guidance, we transform unemployed youth into skilled professionals ready for wage employment or self-employment opportunities in growing sectors.

Water Conservation & Drought Mitigation

Agriculture in our region faces severe challenges from droughts and floods, making water conservation critical for survival. While promoting rainwater harvesting and efficient irrigation tools, we recognize that infrastructure alone isn’t sufficient. We actively advocate with government authorities to secure drought relief funds, watershed development support, and irrigation infrastructure for affected farmers. Our efforts ensure communities receive timely assistance to protect crops and maintain agricultural productivity despite climate uncertainties.

Organic Farming Training & Support

Transitioning to organic farming requires knowledge, confidence, and resources. We provide comprehensive training programs covering organic cultivation methods, natural pest management, and soil health improvement. Our initiatives include distributing organic manures and certified seeds to participating farmers. Through hands-on demonstrations and continuous mentoring, we share essential tips on composting, crop rotation, and organic certification processes. This support helps farmers reduce input costs, improve soil fertility, and access premium markets for organic produce.

Partnership with Krishi Vigyan Kendra

Our collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra creates a vital bridge between agricultural research and farming communities. We regularly communicate field-level challenges, pest outbreaks, soil issues, and crop failures to KVK experts who provide science-based solutions. This two-way knowledge exchange ensures farmers receive timely technical guidance, access to improved varieties, and modern farming techniques. The partnership strengthens agricultural extension services and helps translate research innovations into practical farming solutions.

Women Empowerment Programs

Widows and separated women face unique economic vulnerabilities and social stigma in rural society. Our women empowerment initiatives focus on skill development training that enables them to earn independent incomes with dignity. We provide training in tailoring, handicrafts, food processing, beauty services, and other marketable skills. Beyond technical skills, we offer emotional support, build peer networks, and facilitate market linkages. Our holistic approach helps vulnerable women rebuild their lives, gain financial autonomy, and become respected contributors to their communities.

Mahila Bachat Gath

Parivartan Sanstha empowers women by forming Self-Help Groups (Mahila Bachat Gath) that promote savings and financial independence. We facilitate microloans to help women launch their own businesses, including kirana shops and small enterprises. Through regular meetings and financial literacy training, we build confidence and business acumen among rural women. Our loan programs enable them to become self-reliant entrepreneurs, breaking cycles of economic dependency and creating sustainable income sources for their families and communities.
