Refund Policy
1. General Policy
At Parivartan Sanstha Sumthana, we deeply value the support of our donors and partners in our mission to uplift rural communities. Because donations are immediate contributions toward our social welfare activities (such as organic farming training, water conservation, and women’s empowerment), donations are generally non-refundable.
2. Erroneous or Duplicate Transactions
In the event of an accidental duplicate transaction or an error in the donation amount, we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Request Timeline: You must submit a written request via email within 7 days of the transaction date.

3. Tax Exemptions (Section 80G)
In accordance with Indian Income Tax regulations:

If a tax exemption certificate (80G) has already been issued to the donor for a specific transaction, no refund can be processed for that donation.

If a refund is approved before the certificate is issued, any pending receipt for that transaction will be canceled.
4. Event & Training Fees
For paid workshops or training programs (e.g., KVK collaborations or Women’s Workshops):

Cancellations by Participant: Requests made at least 10 days prior to the event may be eligible for a 50% refund (minus administrative fees). Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.

Cancellations by Parivartan Sanstha: If an event is canceled or rescheduled by the organization, participants will be offered a 100% refund or the option to transfer the fee to a future session.
5. Refund Processing

Mode: Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method (credit card, bank account, etc.) used during the transaction.

Timeline: Please allow 7 to 15 working days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.

Deductions: Payment gateway charges or bank fees (typically 2–3%) may be deducted from the final refund amount.
